Well hi, and thanks for investigating. First let me introduce myself, my name is Sarah Reynolds and I work as a tutor in the Rossendale area.

I have worked with computers on a daily basis for the last 8 years including training people and also teaching in college. So I have a lot of experience both with working with computers, and with passing that information and experience on to other people.

So what next?

I generally teach people in their own homes, on their own computers, on a one-to-one basis. So we would arrange for a first session, which mainly is mainly finding out what you already know (which is probably more than you think!) and what you want to know. You can then decide if this kind of tutoring is for you and decide where to go next.

Why learn this way?

With a two-hour one-to-one session you can learn much more than you would in the same time in a college class, and the tutor is always right by your side when you need them.

The classes can be much more flexible, so you can just learn what you want to and you can go over things as many times as you want to or decide to skip over certain points to come back to them another time.

You can decide how often you want a class, as the classes are quite concentrated you may well find you want to practise your new skills for a while before you have your next lesson.

I also know how busy peoples' lives can be so, I try to be as flexible as possible for my students, as I know that a lesson every week at the same time is not always practical.
