Home What are you interested in using a computer for? Accounts, budgets, creating graphs Keeping, organising, sorting information |
Then you need aWordprocessor |
Using your keyboard a wordprocessor lets you enter letters, reports, essays, lists, notices and many other kinds of 'written' information, just in the same way as using a typewriter. The main advantage that a wordprocessor has is that this information can then be stored and reused without the need for more typing. Yet more can be done than this, a wordprocessor can check your word for spelling and grammar mistakes, single words, complete lines or more can be moved or removed as required, without the whole piece of work needing to be redone. A wordprocessor can also change the style of lettering used, pictures can be added, words can be underlined, the information placed in the center of the screen, newspaper style columns can be created, etc.
A wordprocessor can be used to do all these things, so that your finished piece of work looks exactly the way you want to to and is as individual as you are. |
